Project Neuro

The Neuro Workshops

These workshops will be facilitated by Mollie and Paula.

Meet Paula –
“My name is Paula. I bring my lived experience of stroke and managing a long-term health condition, alongside my professional background, to create a relaxed and supportive space where you can talk openly about what support is locally available and share tips to help self-manage your health and wellbeing. No teaching. No preaching. Just honest conversation where everyone’s experience matters.

These workshops use supported, aphasia-friendly approaches so you can take part in a way that feels right for you. I don’t believe healing is about having all the answers. I believe it’s about you feeling heard, supported, and a little less alone. Let’s move through it together”

Our aim is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can connect with others facing similar challenges, share experiences, and learn practical coping strategies and techniques to support you in everyday life.

An introduction to our Friday afternoon class, designed especially for those aged 65+.
Join us at 14:30 each week for a friendly, supportive session focused on improving balance, core strength, and mobility, helping you stay steady, strong, and confident in everyday life.

You can expect gentle band work, light resistance exercises, and practical movements that can easily be carried into your daily routine.

The class runs from 14:30–15:10 every Friday
Just £5 per session

Thursday MS Class from 14:00 to 14:45
Friday MS Class from 11am to 11:45am

These sessions are led by either Karina and Mollie…Our goal to provide a supportive space to focus on movement, mobility, strength, and coordination, helping you maintain independence for as long as possible. It’s suitable for all stages of the condition.

And a lovely reminder, it’s completely FREE to attend, thanks to the incredible support from the MS Moray Group.

Every Thursday between 10:30 and 12:15 we hold our popular ‘Stroke Group’.

This group is for anyone living with the effects of a stroke – we offer movement, laughs, connections and a cup of tea at the end! (Even biscuits)

We have exercises laid out across the room that work on fine motor skills, strength, balance, reaction times and coordination. Everything can be done at your pace, your level and with a lot of peer support too. We are so fortunate to have some incredible people attending this group who laugh together and support each other.

The group is lead by Mollie – who’s a Level 4 Personal Trainer that specialises in Neurological conditions.

Join us 1:00–1:40pm for Adapt-a-Pound, a seated class combining cardio, mobility, and rhythm-based fun.

Our playlist is a mix of Scottish tunes, 50s classics, 80s hits, and yes… plenty of Nathan Evans to keep the vibes high. Perfect for all ages and abilities, no experience needed!

Every Friday at 12:15 we have the incredible Parkinson’s class, working their way to a fitter more independent future.

We focus on Hand-Eye Communication, Balance, Independence, BIG and Strength movements.

The class is £2 and the rest covered by the incredible people at Parkinson’s Moray – It is held every Friday 12:15 to 13:00 with a wait list! However, keep your eyes peeled for a new Parkinson’s class on the horizon…

Interested? Let us know and we can book you in for a consult and add you to our wait list.
