Benefits of Exercise for

Parkinson’s

Over the last few years research has shown that specific exercise can improve gait, balance, tremor, flexibility, grip strength and motor coordination. Exercise such as functional exercise and biking have all been shown to benefit, along with Tai Chi  type movements, yoga, circuit training and boxing.

Project Neuro

Every Friday at 12:15 we have the incredible Parkinson’s class, working their way to a fitter more independent future.

We focus on Hand-Eye Communication, Balance, Independence, BIG and Strength movements.

The class is £2 and the rest covered by the incredible people at Parkinson’s Moray – It is held every Friday 12:15 to 13:00 with a wait list! However, keep your eyes peeled for a new Parkinson’s class on the horizon…

Interested? Let us know and we can book you in for a consult and add you to our wait list.

Having a class to come to is also a fantastic way to socialise with new people and be involved with different support groups.
